National Donut Day - Corona CA
June 3rd is National Donut Day. It is a great honor to announce today we celebrate 75 years of one of my greatest guilty pleasure on this earth besides velvet cake. This day is a tribute set aside to the Salvation Army "Lassies" who served serviceman during WWI with these delicious and satisfying donuts. Many shops around town will be offering you a free donut to celebrate this milestone.
Corona and Eastvale have many wonderful stores and shops for you to entertain your taste buds today. My favorite is Sunny Donuts. There are two locations which I frequent quite often. The first location is at 12636 Hamner Ave inside the Ralphs shopping center. The other is located at 7056 Archibald St, #103 inside the Corona Valley Marketplace. I usually start my weekend by enjoying one of their bear crawl donuts. What separates them from other local shops is their smile to start the day.
On top of the list for most residents in Corona CA is Bakers Dozen Donuts located at 325 S. Main St #A in Corona. They are usually open from 4 am to 8 pm. What makes them special is their service, fresh donuts, and their specialty donuts. Their facebook page keeps the community connected to their yummy specialties. If you are not an early bird, don't worry, they always make sure to have a fresh batch of donuts for your late afternoon craving of the flaky and creamy, scrumptious donuts.
Painted Dough is another highly recommended donut shop in our area. It is located at 5702 Riverside Drive in Chino CA. Their hours are 5 am to 9 pm. They have what one might call the true specialty donuts such as the glazed blueberry donut, maple bacon bar donut and the creme brulee donut. Is your mouth watering yet? They also offer ice cream, coffee, tea, and cheeseburgers. Drive thru option is you are in need of a quick sugar rush.
Well, it is not too late for you to stop by any of the above donut shops. Celebrate the National Donut day and take a bite off the yummiest dough.
