I will soon be headed out to the Naumkegger, a local beer event where I work a few days a week. (Naumkeag is a lovely home/museum and gardens run by the Trustees of Reservations) in the state of Massachusetts. It is actually the model that the folks in England used to create their National Trust.
On Thursday after working a full day I was needed to help with the Naumkeag at Night event. There is a band playing overlooking a fabulous Monument Mountain view, a cash bar and memberships available every Thursday evening. Several people called out so it was only the General Manager and me. We had about 150 people and it was tough. Hopefully tonight there will be more staff because we are expecting a really large crowd.
It is hot and humid and I am on all day tomorrow too. Time to find a hat and off I go. There were almost 400 folks and it was busy but good.
