Here in The Manchester NH area, the average single family home sells for 99% of asking price. The data from the Northern New England Real Estate Network for 1/1/16 to 6/29/16. You do not have to look far though that some homes sell in mere days while others seem to take months. The difference is often the asking price. Although a shortage of homes for sale in some areas, over priced homes are not selling in this market.

Scott Godzyk I track a lot of Southern California cities. I'm seeing 98.5% sell-to-list price or higher in most of the moderate priced cities to the lower end of the high priced cities. Then once you start getting to $1M+ selling prices that percentage drops a bit (in most place, some stay way up there), but I rarely see below 94% there. Clearly a sellers market.
