You would think there is a rule about where one can and can not list a home based on a reaction on a recent sale. In case you can not sense the sarcasm, an agent from the town asked if I would make it a habit of listing new homes in that town? The quick answer was to ask them if the seller called them to list? They said no. Did you bring a buyer to my listing? The answer was no. Did the home sell in less than week? The answer was yes. And your issue is?????

Beth Atalay i see it more in condo communities or neighborhoods where an agent gets most of the listings. But some sellers go with the service and not the normal.

Exactly Gary L. Waters, Broker Owner, Waters Realty of Brevard, LLC . NH is small, towns are small. I can be in 3 different counties in less than 20 minutes. I know the area, know the homes, know the market and list and sell in all of them. Most listing are referrals from people who were very happy with my service that tell everyone.

Scott... I don't take it personally. When I've heard something like this I just stare them down and then ask to see a copy of an official document "awarding" them sole custody for the area.
