Right on target - and - re-blog!
People come and go in the Rain.
Some have been here for years and years.
Others take a sabbatical and return.
Others streak across the Rain like a meteor, burning out after a short burst of glory.
Others lurk in the shadows not making themselves known.
Others are here to comment and almost never blog.
Others are all business 24/7/365.
Others mix it up, a bit of business a bit of fun.
Some enjoy writing and for others it's a struggle to ever put words together and hit SUBMIT.
And fortunately the number is small, but some seem to be here just to kick the beehive. Negative comments, grumbling, enough that you just might seriously wonder WHY is that person here at all?
Our WHY for being in the Rain?
It's pretty straightforward and there's more than one reason:
- It helps our business. It wasn't fast, it took a lot of work, but what we've learned and implemented from our Rain friends has meant that 2016 is by far our best year ever in real estate.
- We learn. Back to the first bullet the first bullet point. We get exposed to all kinds of great information. Some is the next bright and shiny, other things have real promise and get worked into our business.
- The friends. Yes, you can make REAL friends without ever meeting them. And when we're really lucky, we actually DO meet them in person.
- This place is a 24/7 help desk. Got a question? Someone has been there and done that, and they'll help with no expectation of anything in return. ActiveRain is really a Pay It Forward type of place.
- It's fun. Some days I have more free time for comments, other days it's all I can do to squeeze in a post, but AR is not a place I expect to visit and have a bad day.
