Dutchess County NY attached home sales continue to rise
Once again Dutchess County NY attached home sales rose in September. There were 49 units sold this September versus 43 in September 2015, a 14 percent increase. The sales of 49 units was the second highest in the month of September over the last 10 years.
Sales was not the only thing trending up, both average and median prices increased this September, a 22.9 and 29.6 percent increase over last year. ( see chart)
The unit sold ranged in price from $14,000 to $485,000.
One negative trend was the Days on market which rose by13 days, a 12.3 percent increase.
Purchase offers went up 27 percent and the inventory fell 20.9 percent, at 258 it was the lowest it has been in September over the last 10 years.
