As of January 1, 2017, we continue to have low inventory and record high sales. With an estimated population of 68,050 as of December 2016, to date, there were 1,329 properties sold per the MLS. The lowest price home sold for $70,000 and the most expensive residential property sold for $6,000,000.00.
Flower Mound now has its first Hound Mound for dog lovers. The park opened in January 2016. It is located at 1200 Garden Ridge Boulevard near Spinks Road in southeast Flower Mound. Happy dogs now have something to bark about!
Bye-Bye Verizon FIOS - Frontier is here to stay in Flower Mound as of April 1.
Flower Mound had a ground-breaking ceremony this past summer for the Lakeside Tower, a 15 story luxury high-rise condominium. This Flower Mound 48-unit structure with high-end 4,700 square foot luxury spa will have views of Lake Grapevine where people can enjoy the sight of sailboats, sunrise, and sunsets. This $70 million dollar project is the result of a vision of the Stewart Family of Dallas.
In June 2016 Flower Mound got its very own Farmer’s Market. It has quickly grown and had to relocate to Parkers Square on Cross Timbers Road by August 2016.
In Flower Mound, a 12 million dollar, 32,000 square foot, single-story building begun last January 2016 for the offices of Denton County Commissioner, Constable, Justice of the Peace, a community room, and other county offices. Completion is scheduled for early 2017.
It may be January but Spring 2017 will be here in Flower Mound before you know it and the wildflowers will return.
