New Advertising Tool

By
Real Estate Agent with The ALLREALTY Group

I am sooo excited.  On one of the morning shows (I can't remember if it was the Today's Show or not) they were talking about a new technology that posts a banner at the TOP of search engine sites (instead of being a numbered link) when you put in certain key words into several of the top search engines (google, yahoo, alta vista, msn, ask, etc) and the company who does this called me.

I was a bit hesitant (and still am to some degree) as my banner has not been activated as of yet (they are designing one specifically for me), so I don't have any numbers to track, but it appears to be an awesome rainmaking tools.  The key words I chose are getting 100,000 hits/month!!  Of course, I realize they will not all turn into leads, but I am anxious to see how these hits on my website will increase my numbers and how those will be converted to clients.

I will keep you posted as this develops!  It was not an inexpensive tool, but I weighed what I paid to a local advertiser last year (which did increase my numbers, but not enough to justify the cost) and re-allocated it to this new technology.

Keep your fingers crossed for me! :-)

It is a program designed by Clients 1 that posts a large stationary banner at the top of all search engine results for the key words you choose.  Mine is Greensboro Real Estate.  I will call my rep today and see if I can direct you all to them.

Keep in mind that you can do nearly everything yourself FREE that these companies offer you. Type in create my banner ad free. Then you can cross link with others and place your banner ad on google adsense to help generate traffic. All you would be doing is cutting out the middleman to save money. This can work, just make sure you select your key words carefully. 100,000 is not always the best......sometimes it is better to go with less competitive words that get less hits so you get more qualified candidates coming to your site. You often pay for clicks and you want to make sure you get the most for your money. The only site we have that we pay to have someone else generate traffic is a pay per click with google on our mapping software....you can check it out at www.michellesmap.com

We pay $600 per month and get 2-6 qualified signups per day. You want to make sure your website has something sticky to capture the leads when they get to your site. Traffic means nothing if you don't get them once they are there. Drive them to a site that has an idx signup or FREE reports, etc.

Hope this helps......you are on the right track. 90% of our initial clients come from the web.
