"Procrastinator? No. I just wait until the last second to do my work because I will be older, therefore wiser."

I'm hosting the Strength vs Weakness Challenge this month here on ActiveRain. I am not eligible to participate for points but I thought it would be good for my soul to write a post on the subject anyway.
When I came up with the idea for this challenge and got to thinking about it for my own post, I didn't realize I had so many weaknesses. I'm having a hard time narrowing it down to just one. The good news is: I also have many strengths so I guess I've figured out how to make them work for me, or at least minimize the negative consequences of the weak side.
My greatest strength, I believe is my positive attitude. Real estate (and life) is full of ups and downs and twists and turns and a positive attitude helps keep the mind clear to be a problem solver. A positive attitude keeps those negative thoughts at bay. Negative thinking leads to lots of bad stuff... professionally and personally, emotionally and physically. I am a good problem solver and the queen of finding silver linings in dark clouds.
As for the biggest weakness, I'd have to say procrastination. I never put things off when it came to contracts but I do in many other aspects of business and life. The good part is, deadlines tend to inspire me. I get some of my best ideas and become most efficient when I am under pressure to perform. For some reason, it works for me and for that I am grateful.
Whatever our strengths and weaknesses are, we can control them and make them work in our favor. If we can't, there is always the option to find a friend to help or hire someone to do what we can't (or won't).
Have you sent in your entry for this challenge yet? You still have plenty of time but don't put it off til the last day... like I tend to do. I did all three contest entries last month on the last day! LOL
Hi Carol- I too am a big procrastinator and like you, deadlines tend to inspire me! LOL

I haven't done the challenge yet but will do so!
I laughed about the quote regarding putting this off because then we'll be older and wiser. Funny.
Good morning James Dray . I think we all have multiple strengths and weaknesses to balance. It's the balancing that counts. Have a great day!
Your Before and After was awesome Sheri Sperry - MCNE® . I see you got the work-life balance post done too. Good job!
Good morning Kat Palmiotti . I knew there was a reason procrastination was ok. LOL Looking forward to your entry.
Learning how to turn our weaknesses into strengths is a good thing and having a positive attitude will always be a big help. I read a very positive comment on procrastination recenlty, something along the lines of letting your subconcious work on the challenge before tackling it. Like sleeping on it.
It is good to admit and confess our strengths and weaknesses. By recognizing them we can make them better and know what we need to work on.
Excellent quote! I never heard it before, but I like it a lot. It is a great excuse:)
I absolutely love this contest. I've read so many great entries already, but I did not wrote mine....I hope, you'll bring this contest back again.
