Home Prices in San Clemente 7/9/2017

This week’s report on home values for San Clemente and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a San Clemente Realtor Michael Albrecht. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 5.2 percent, for new homes up 0.3 percent and for resale condos up 9.1 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 0.1 percent and down 5.4 percent on condos and down 13.6 percent for new homes.  

•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 7.1 percent and the sales volume is down 28.7 percent.

•Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 0.2 percent and the sales volume is up 0.0 percent.

•Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 10.3 and the sales volume is up 0.9 percent.

•Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 13.2 percent and the sales volume is down 1.7 percent.

•Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 5.5 percent and the sales volume down 18.5 percent.

•San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are down 7.7 percent and the sales volume is down 10.9 percent.

•San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 18.5 percent and the sales volume is down 5.7 percent.

We are seeing a drop off of the number of sales in everyone of these zip codes except the sales volume in Aliso Viejo.  The sales prices are still going up.  When we have fewer properties on the market and an increase in interest rates we see this kind of a attern.
