I was in San Francisco two weekends ago to speak to an investor group and when I was in town I saw an amazing site which turned out to be the new SalesForce building. When completed it will be the tallest building west of Chicago at 1070 feet and it dwarfs the skyline there. I should have taken a picture but I have this public domain picture from the ABC news channel in San Francisco. It was a bit foggy the day I saw it and the top was shrouded which added to it majestic look.
I have been following the development of artificial intelligence in their platform and if I was running a team this would be my CRM even with the $150 per month charge. Now the AI will even analyze your email inbox to let you know what should be your immediate attention. The AI analyzes email content and makes that decision for you and as this developments it even analyzes your marketing and can adjust for that. Bill Gates was on CBS this morning on Friday and was specifically talking about the importance of AI. When asked about development he gave it 5 years to be perfected.
5 Years!!! I have about 5 years left where I want to keep working at real estate but my fascination with AI just might make me hang around longer. If you are a new agent and plan to practice real estate for the next 20 years you better get on board for this just like many of us recognized the importance of the Web for marketing in the 1990s. I am not saying that AI will replace humans, but I do believe it is the one development where I can use that overused and misplaced word, disruption. This building should tell you something and FYI, I analyzed the stock and it is over performing. I bought it since it is too late for Amazon or Apple. Follow the leader.
