How to avoid a SLUMP...

By
Real Estate Agent with ProSmart Realty

No matter how successful they are, everyone hits a slump from time to time. The people who succeed over the long run, are the ones that recognize a slump when it starts and then find ways to get out before the slump becomes a black hole. They are the ones who have a NO SLUMP strategy in place, and who use it to get over or around whatever seems to be blocking their way.

This no slump assessment will help you stop a slump and get back to postive and productive work.

Each Morning before you dive into work, ask yourself:

*Have I decided what I want today?

*Have I shared my intention with someone who will hold me accountable?

*Have I written down at least 10 things that I am grateful for today?

*Are my goals plugged into my schedule today?

*What are the top 3 must do's today?

*Have I visualized and imagined what it will feel like hitting my goal today?

Each evening before you are done working for the day ask yourself:

*What did I do well today?

*How will I make up for what I missed today...tomorrow?

*Did I add fun to my work today?

*Did I take good care of myself today?

*How did I add value to others today?

Use this checklist everyday and remember to work with a friend to stay accountable and on track so you don't fall into a slump.

There's loads of inspiration in this post, Gary and Melynda.  I think we can have those cycles or slumps; but it is important to keep on track with the plan and goals.  It will pay off.
