With abundant amenities, it's easy to enjoy the yearlong sunshine and breathtaking views of the mountains. Multi-use paths meander throughout the Canyon Trails community leading to numerous parks and greenbelts. The parks contain tot lots, volleyball courts and ramadas.
Some homes in Canyon Trails include access to the Canyon Trails Recreation Center. The facility boasts a resort style pool with cabanas, a spa, a ramada for BBQs, a work out room and a playground with a basketball court.

The expansive zoo grounds include a large collection of animals, an amazing aquarium, a Safari park, an Adventure Land, various rides including a sky rail that gives you a bird's eye view. The zoo offers several dining options, including Dillon's Restaurant that serves world-famous K.C. style BBQ right next to large shark tank that is a part of the aquarium. The Wildlife World Zoo has Arizona's largest collection of exotic animals with over 2400 individual animals representing more than 400 exotic and endangered species.
With the easy access to the two major freeways, it's a short drive to Westgate Entertainment District, which includes shopping, restaurants, entertainment, the Cardinal's football stadium and the Coyote's hockey arena. Luke Air Force Base is also just a short 10-minute drive.
There's always something going on in the Valley of the Sun! Phoenix provides access to professional sports teams for baseball, football, hockey, and basketball! Spring training is always popular and the Goodyear Ballpark provides one of many facilities in the Valley to enjoy the games.
North of Goodyear is the Lake Pleasant Regional Park, a 10,000-acre preserve with a large lake where Arizona residents enjoy camping, boating, sailboating, canoeing, paddleboarding, fishing, off-roading and more. Pleasant Harbor Marina offers boat, stand up paddleboard, canoe and jet ski rentals. Private boat owners can also launch their boats or store their boats at the marina. Pleasant Harbor is also the home of Dillon's Bayou BBQ. There are several locations to camp at Lake Pleasant ranging from dry camping on the lake shore to a nice campground facility to the Pleasant Harbor RV Resort that offers hook-ups, a swimming pool, and spa.
