For me and my family this is one of the reasons we love it here in Rancho Sahuarita, it's the events. Below are the Memorial Day Events. I rode the bike portion of the tri a few years ago and loved every minute, well, maybe not every minute, :-)
Celebrate the coming of summer with our Memorial Day event on Saturday, May 24th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Enjoy good music, jumping castle truck, water tag, dunk tank, games, prizes, pnoy rides, face painting, kiddie train and more. The American Red Cross will also be conducting a blood drive from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Make your appointment at the Clubhouse or simply show up to GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE! Rancho Sahuarita is the place to be this Memorial Day weekend.
The fun continues Sunday, May 25th at 8:00 pm with the showing of the movie "Underdog". This is the next film in our "Movies Under the Stars" series. The entire family will fall in love with this superhero beagle as he tries to save the world. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy complimentary popcorn courtesy of our Rancho Sahuarita home builders.
Memorial Day is not complete without the Annual Sahuarita Lake Triathlon on Monday, May 26th. Come and watch hundreds of competitors as they compete in this test of endurance featuring a 1K swim, 25K bike ride, and a 5K run. The competition begins at 6:30 am.
