Thankful For The ADREG Team
Although Debbie Reynold’s 12 Days of Thanksgiving 2017 – ActiveRain Challenge has ended I want to continue to write posts here and there to say what I’m thankful for. During the challenge I wasn’t able to participate as much as I wanted to due to work obligations and I also realized how much it lifted my spirits to logon and read what fellow Rainers are thankful for. There was always a positive and grateful post to read and I liked that – A LOT!
I’m thankful for my team here at Amanda Davidson Real Estate Group or as we like to call it ADREG. We all have similar values, the same mission, and we are the definition of a work family. Sure, we get on each other’s nerves just like any other family does but, at the end of the day we are loyal to one another and always have the others back.
JeMai Wright
JeMai’s title is Direction of First Impressions and she is just that but, also so much more. She’s the person that everyone who comes to the office sees first. Her welcoming smile and kind demeanor is well known with our clients and they all speak so highly of her. Cue the “so much more” part – JeMai is my right hand at the office. She knows all the ins and outs of what needs to happen daily, weekly, monthly, and annually. If I ask her to do something she dives right in without question. It can get pretty chaotic here and no matter what’s going on she’s a support system to me and to the agents.
Alan Davis
Alan joined us a little over a year ago and Real Estate is his second career. Alan devoted over 30 years to the Foreign Service and retired as a Senior Foreign Service Officer. I hope he writes a book one day on all the places he’s lived and traveled, it’s truly impressive. You won’t find an agent who cares about his clients more than Alan. He does everything within his power to make sure they walk away knowing they received the best service possible. His clients mean the world to him and watching him go the extra mile every time always makes me so proud. Alan also brings humor to the office – we all love to laugh here and do it a lot. Alan sits directly across from me and there isn’t a time he’s in the office that I don’t laugh.
Paul Scott
Paul joined us in May this year and I knew from the time we interviewed him he was going to be a great fit to our office culture. Paul is a Veteran and it only takes talking to him for a few minutes to know he’s a class act. He is working hard to build up his clientele and puts in the hours it takes to build relationships. Watching him go from being unsure on how to talk to people to being able to talk to anyone at any time has been so rewarding. Paul is an excellent listener and always does his best to accommodate the needs of his clients. He also has a wonderful sense of humor which goes a long way in a busy real estate office. He and Alan have created their own bond and I thoroughly enjoy listening to them give each other a hard time.
Paul Perry
In full disclosure Paul is my fiance but, this is spoken strictly from a business standpoint. If it weren't for him I really don't know that we'd have the technology that we have at ADREG and if we did I can guarantee it wouldn't run as smoothly as it does. Paul is a Senior Network Engineer by day and runs every facet of our IT and phone system for me when he's not at work. He comes in religiously every weekend to run updates and make sure everything is working properly. I couldn't even begin to get into details because I don't have a clue about how it all functions but, I know how hard he works to make sure we have everything we need - even leaving work to come troubleshoot in emergency cases. He's a part of the crew here and has formed his own relationships with everyone.
For now this is the ADREG family and I’m proud of each one of them for different reasons. We aren’t out to hire anyone with a pulse, far from it – I want the best of the best. Best of the best doesn’t mean putting up numbers to me. It means agents and staff who truly care about people, who are always willing to go to extra mile, and who want to be a part of a work family and build a business we can all be proud of together. Office culture is very important to me and that means I have to be very selective in who I hire to make sure I’m adding the right mindset and character to our group. I am so grateful for the ADREG team.
