This weeks report on home values for Corona del Mar and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Corona del Mar Realtor Joe Steck. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 5.7 percent, new homes are up 0.0 percent and resale condos are up 9.3 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 2.3 percent, down 6.8 percent on condos and up 17.2 percent for new homes.
Corona del Mar Zip Code 92625 sales prices are up 1.6 percent and the sales volume is down 39.1 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 7.2 percent and the sales volume is up 2.3 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 7.4 percent and the sales volume is down 30.0 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 13.8 and the sales volume is down 19.4 percent.
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 22.3 percent and the sales volume is down 0.0 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 4.3 percent and the sales volume down 4.4 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 43.8 percent and the sales volume is down 28.6 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are 11.9 percent and the sales volume is down 7.1 percent.
These are some huge negatives in sales volume in many of the zip codes. Look at Corona del Mar, Mission Viejo 92692, Aliso Viejo, and San Clemente 92672 all show large drops in sales volume. Those are off the chart. We are short of inventory for sure in all areas.
