Thank you for the post.  Standing out and specializing is a big of plus in the real estate business.  Even when I was actively selling, I would often refer business to a specialist when I didn't feel competent to serve a specific segment of buyer.  Equestrian property buyers were an example.  We had one gal in the market who was THE condo specialist.  Buyers are always looking for the person who can best serve their needs.
