Wrecker's Ball Was A Ball Dressing Construction Chic
Last night I attended the annual Wreckers Ball at Second Chance, Inc. in Baltimore with my friend and Baltimore Real Estate broker extraordinaire Margaret Rome! We had such a great time supporting this amazing organization. I will be returning very soon to check on/pick up a few items that caught my eye.
Margaret made this great video below that really sums up our evening quite nicely. There is not much I can add - other than to encourage you all to stop by Second Chance on Ridgely in Baltimore if you haven't done so already or if it's been awhile!
What does one expect when the invitation reads
Wrecker's Ball Dress Code
''Construction Chic?''
How can that not be fun?
Andrea Bedard and I attended last night.
Not only did we meet a lot of very interesting people who, like us, support the wonderful work of Second Chance but we also toured the 200,000 square foot building. We found a few treasures and watched videos of special employees that have been given a second chance. We listened to a great band, enjoyed food and drink and had a really good time.
Take a look at the video above to see just a small sampling of the evening.
Andrea fit right in with her boots and purse aka a tool belt.
And my jewels aka tools.
Taken by Leslie at the pixilated photo booth with cute props.
The Second Chance
Wrecker's Ball was a ball!
This is what Second Chance is about. Instead of demolition, this wonderful company deconstructs homes and buildings salvaging the usable items for the warehouse. It is open to the public seven days a week
Everyone everywhere would enjoy a visit.
Tell them Margaret sent you.
