My story begins with a text message I received at 9:23PM on Friday, July 6, 2018.
I was the listing agent and a buyer's agent had scheduled a showing appointment for 12:30 the next day to show my listing and since she was traveling some distance to show her clients the home, she did not have Supra access which is the lockbox that I use for all my listings. Her text message to me was to explain her dilemma, and to ask if I would be able to assist with accommodating the showing. Her message ended with "Can you please help?"
Since it is my belief that when I take a listing, I must do whatever is reasonable to accommodate a showing for a ready, willing, and able buyer, I immediately responded and we set up a plan for her to gain access to the home for her next day showing appointment.
Following the showing appointment, the buyers wrote a great offer and the seller accepted. This was the beginning of a transaction that included many twists and turns. The buyer's agent (Bc Wint) and I became very close throughout and it became evident that the bond of teamwork between Bc and me is the glue that helped keep this transaction together.
Due to some unexpected events during the pending contract phase, the whole thing could have easily fallen apart. We both understood that the buyer really wanted the home, and my seller really wanted to sell and move closer to family - so Bc and I were determined to bind our team together and keep in continual communication and stay the course.
I am thankful to share that the buyer happily received the keys on settlement day and the seller was overjoyed to know that the buyer would love the home as much as they did.
I am so grateful for Bc, a beautiful lady - with a caring heart for her clients and I truly believe that teamwork truly does make the dream work!
