"The secret to success is to treat every customer as if your world revolves around them."
As many of you know, I am currently on my winter get-a-way in Arizona. I always drive. Many people wonder why I drive instead of fly, especially since I often travel alone. There are a few reasons I prefer to drive but mainly because I visit family and friends en route and take a different route on the way back home. That way I can visit more family and friends.
Today when I was out running errands with my sister-in-law, I got that fast blinker sound when I signaled to turn left. I know, from experience, that means my blinkers are not working. If you're familiar with the Phoenix area, you know there is a LOT of traffic around here. When you're navigating 6 lanes of traffic, having your blinkers NOT working is a very bad thing. So, I opened up my smartphone and Googled auto repair shops near my location. I was sure hoping I didn't have to go far.
I had the very good fortune to have Wilhelm Automotive in Goodyear, Arizona pop up as an option very near where I was. I called them right away and told them what the problem was. The very pleasant receptionist told me to drop-in at my convenience, and they would take care of me. Not more than an hour later, I was at their shop. There were several cars in their multiple bays, but they jumped into action the minute I walked into the shop. It didn't take long before they came in and told me my blinker bulb and my brake light was out... and something else but I don't remember what. They replaced all the needed parts.
As I stepped to the counter to pay, the service man said "No charge. Please remember us if you need any repair work done." Will I remember them? Absolutely. Not only that, but I will also tell all my friends in the area about them AND post a testimonial on their website, my website, my blog, my Facebook page and any place else I can think of.
Before I started writing this post, I went to their website to get the link and what did I see but 1319 testimonial reviews and a 5-star rating.
So, as special as I felt, apparently they treat everyone special. I am so grateful to have been introduced to Wilhelm Automotive. I hope many more people discover them too!
Morning Carol.
It's not very often someone will do something for anyone without getting some kind of payment, especially from a business. I'm sure that is why they are getting all 5-star ratings.

Hi James Dray
Kind of makes me wish I lived closer so I could give them some real business. I'll just pass the word along and hope others try them out too.
Hi Nina Hollander
Their logo says "since 1928" and they certainly haven't lost that old fashioned customer service attitude through the generations!

Hi Carol Williams - What a wonderful testimonial for Wilhelm Automotive. People don't expect this type of treatment and it is so nice to see right here in Arizona.
There are few things that will totally shake up my world. They are (1) Computer problems, AND, (2) Automotive issues. A good auto mechanic or service is worth their weight in gold.
You have really spread your wings with your product placement idea Carol Williams
Hello Carol, Sounds like you got lucky in finding a place that doesa good job and glad they did not take advanage of you.
