How Will Climate Change Affect Your Children?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Honestly, I know a lot of people who don't give a hoot about climate change because they a) won't be around when the world is destroyed, and b) they don't really understand it. They think oh, it's three degrees hotter, I can live with that. But they don't realize how many other living things cannot. And when other living things cease to exist, it's only a matter of time for us.

I don't know about you, but this new report on climate change that shows how our actions today can affect more than 500 metropolitan areas in America and Canada, and how it can happen in your children's life time, is a bit disturbing. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Climate Change in Sacramento by 2080.

So weird to see your topic, Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents.  I was just talking about weather this morning. Far too many folks don't get it. And, while weather is cyclical in terms of history, we are amplifying and acceleratng it with our actions.  :(

I used to take the bus to work when I was fresh out of college and worried about climate change.  That was back in the 90's.  In the early days of my real estate career, I cared enough to drive a hybrid car.  I recycle like crazy.  In fact, there is more recycle in our household refuse than actual garbage.  In other words, I do what I can.
