This Big Island Beach is Like Being at a Lake

Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

When househunting a few years back, Hella and I had stopped near Manini Beach but not at that particular spot. We had encountered the guys renting kayaks around the bend from this beach. It is a little hard to find if you don't know where it is. Tucked away off a street from Napoopoo, but I included pretty good directions in my blog in case you want to go.

Anita and I yesterday had first talked about paddle boarding but the water was not cooperating and a breeze was picking up. As an alternative, we decided to go snorkeling at Manini Beach. Except we did not end up getting into the water, LOL. You can read more in my personal blog at this link: Photos of Manini Beach at Honaunau.

Aloha Elizabeth - you are certainly making certain your waning days in Hawaii are unforgettable.  I know you have mentioned "Plant App" previously but it's worth "remembering" once again.

Michael Jacobs The app is Plant Snap. You just click on it, take a close up picture of the plant and it will automatically identify it. It's better than some of the other ID apps out there. You can also import photos in your library into the app, so you don't have to be standing right in front of the plant to identify it.

I'm getting Plant Snap. What a great app. Can't wait to try it. As for the beach day, sounds like you made great decisions.  Here's to easy travels on the flight back to Sacramento...

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD Oh, yes, I can't say enough good things about Plant Snap. I've tried other apps but Plant Snap is much better. You just need to be careful to snap a close up photo of a leaf. You can pinch it to make it bigger or smaller, too.

Endre Barath, Jr. Funny thing is a tree I identified at Makalawena Beach was the same tree at Old Airport Beach that I identified a couple of months back. It seemed familiar but the name did not stick. Now it has.
