As I see it . . . . . . . .
Group thinkers need not apply
It’s interesting to watch group thinking in action . . . .
There is two type of group thinking . . . . One is the leader who doesn’t want new thinking . . . . or any new ideas to be introduced into the conversation. They will do their best to shut any new thinking . . . . and will be steadfast in their thinking even at the risk of a failure.
The other type of group thinking . . . . are the people in the group that will not speak up . . . . They go along with what is being said to avoid conflict. This type of thinking will have a negative effect on the decision making of the group . . . . and the results of the groups decision making.
Group thinkers will go out of their way in finding the common ground to think alike . . . . and to avoid any new thinking.
New thinking is discouraged . . . . and frankly frown on.
It takes courage to speak up . . . . When there is a bully in the group the bully will their best to bully you in your decision making to side with them.
When your right the choice is . . . . do you speak up? Or do you remain quiet?
I have been in proactive meeting where things were accomplished . . . . I been in meeting that I was told not to talk or offer an opinion . . . . that decision making caused a crash and burn outcome.
Group thinkers need not apply . . . . Wanted thinker that want to grow and thrive.
