Monday, Nov. 18th, 6:30pm in the film classroom (Building 110, Room 328, in the Arts Wing of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at NWFSC). There will be a free screening of one of the best films of last year: A Fantastic Woman (Sebastian Lelio, Rated R for language, violence, and sexual content). This tells the story of Marina, a trans woman, who faces the incredible force of gender and sexual privilege after a tragic event in her life. A discussion will follow the film. Free food will be provide by the NWSC Film Club and Gay-Straight Alliance. Everyone is welcome.
