  Thanks to Barb Todaro's post today, I thought I would ask the AR group what your thoughts are on this comparison sheet between my company and my competition. This will be available for agents to hand to their clients when they start their search for an inspection company.
     The typical practice is for the buyer agent (BA) to always give the client 3 names of inspectors to choose from. The logic is that if something goes wrong with the inspection, the BA liability will be reduced because the BA gave them 3 names, and it was the clients decision who they hired. In reality, using an inspection company that does not offer all the FREE warranties that we include, the client will be in a position of higher liability if  a qualified system breaks down after they close, and the first person they will call will be the BA.
     The options for the BA at that point are several. Tell the client that, A. things break and that's part of owning a home. B. BA pays for the repair out of their own pocket. C. Tell client to call the home inspector, and if he has no warranty coverages, he will say it was working when we were there, sorry. OR, D. Remind the client that they used SLS Home Inspections, and he has all those FREE warranties. Call Scott, and he will forward you the claim form and coverage will be up to 100% of the issue in some cases, or a good portion after the deductible in otheres. 
     So the liability of the BA was reduced, and the BA is the hero and likely to receive several referrals because they made sure their clients were protected, after the close. A good referral from a happy client is golden. Your business depends on it.
This is a rough draft, and it will be printed and designed by a marketing team of professionals. Any suggestions or comments welcome. It's still in the design phase.

Good Afternoon, Barbara! It's very difficult to read - small and sideways but, I gather it's about comparing the companies and I think this is a great marketing idea. Put together professionally and positioned properly on the page, it's something he could add to his website and social media...or offer to send a well-done copy to anyone who clicks on a landing page.
