Tuesday's Treasures ~ Stopped to say hello

On Monday the day after Easter Austin experienced another beautiful day only instead of being in the 80's it was in the 60's....with the sun shinning it didn't matter!

Son John took Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett on a field trip later in the afternoon from home school. They stopped and picked out a cactus with bright yellow blooms and drove to the Austin Memorial Park Cemetery where Paw Paw rests now. The sun was out, there was a nice breeze. A beautiful day to stop and say hello!

What a nice thought and a good thing to do to teach the grandchildren to respect and honor those who are no longer with us physically.

Dorie that was a very thoughtful thing for John to do, and keeping Geno's memories fresh in Beckett's and Hudson's minds.

Hi Dorie:

What a thoughtful, and important, thing to do with the grandkids. I wonder what they were thinking, or asking about?

I love going to the cemetary to talk to my mother.  I always feel like she is there for me - I am sure that your husband knew that his grandchildren were there!
