Thanks again for all of your help in the Q&A section. I finally have my new set of printables finished, and they are all about how to prepare your home for the market.
It's 30+ pages of tips, charts, checklists to make the process easier. As I'm sure you know, preparing your home for the market can be overwhelming and take a while to do. I have many customers that start planning and doing 2 years in advance. They usually start w/ basic decluttering and purging as well as refinishing the floors.
They realize that in order to do floors, they need to declutter first. They may only start with the main living areas first and tackle the other areas (like the basement) later and gradually. I would venture to guess that many of these homeowners start this 1-2 years before they even contact a potential agent.
How do I know this? Well because many of them tell me this. I alway ask them if they are working with an agent? Some are/plan to but have not notified that person, other have and many others are not ready to yet.
Of course if they don't have an agent in mind, it gives me the opportunity to recommend someone good for them. This way, I know they're taken care of and I help my business partners (as they have recommended me to their clients).
Anyway, I created these printable to help others who are in that phase...they know they want to sell but have no clue how to get their home prepared. Hence, the new printable.
We'll see if it actually works. I'm experimenting with this as a stand alone item as well as a tripwire. I also emailed my (tiny) email list with a d discount and a few bought already.
I'm working on creating some pins, too.
This time, I decided to pay someone to help me with these to speed up the process. It definitely helped and that's the route I'm going to use next time. She did things faster than I did and in some cases better.
As luck would have it, she's also a real estate agent. How lucky is that? So it was a perfect fit as she know this stuff.
It was great. I could work on some other projects while she did this.
We'll see how this goes. It's very apparent that I have a lot to learn in this area, and I'm hoping in a month or two, that I'll be earning more on printables. I'm in the $300-$400/month range.
I am going to try some more ways to get more email opt-ins, too, so we'll see how things look.
I also need to add this printable bundle on a few more relevant pages. Once I know how well it's working (or not working), I can enable the tripwire on more pages, too.
