2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Its interesting in this chapter of scripture Paul said a messenger of Satan was sent to torment him and he pleaded with the Lord to take it away.  However the response is in the verse.  “My grace is sufficient for you.”  And that message for Paul can be the message to you as well.  If there is something that you are having trouble shaking, avoiding, overcoming understand the Christ’s grace is sufficient.   His power is made perfect in your weakness.

We may not like this idea at first. We may wonder why things can’t just be easier and why they don’t go better.  However, your ability to receive his grace and give it back out is more important overall and long term than your temporary struggles.  The truth is even someone super faithful to the following of Christ will have troubles.  But Christ’s power is made perfect in our weakness.  It shows we can’t do this with out the love, grace and peace of Christ.  Doing things only in our own way is not going to get us fulfillment.  We learn and grow and upgrade in the things of God in Christ when his power is on display, even in the midst of our weaknesses.

THANK YOU LORD THAT IN MY WEAKNESSES THERE IS STILL STRENGTH THROUGH YOUR POWER.  TODAY IS ANOTHER DAY I RECEIVE YOUR GRACE AND POINT TO YOUR GLORY!
