Ever since I joined Active Rain on October 4, 2021, I have discovered a whole new meaning about being on Social Media.
I learned how important and beneficial it is to be discovered through social media and how the blog signature could be the "first impression" in learning about me and my company's services.
Background
I started working with Craig Daniels shortly after joining Active Rain in October 2021. As a result of working with Craig, here's what I have accomplished so far.
First: Craig has been my "coach" and "go-to" guru for not only technical challenges but walking me through the "Dos and Don'ts" on how to maximize benefits using Active Rain.
Creating my blog signature was one of the first "homework" Craig gave me. Both older (1st & 2nd) versions worked fine for the time being, but I knew I would need to create a "new and improved" (third) one. And there will be more.
Second: With Craig's encouragement and assistance, my company's website was transferred from another provider to WordPress. I invite you to check it out; it's free and has no obligations!
Third: Craig periodically sends reminders, messages, follows up, and follows through on tasks we agreed to complete. And provides continued support, especially when I get myself into a pickle! He gently reminded me of when I mistakenly posted my "Friday's Food For Thought" series on the Active Rain Challenges Group! Oops!
Today, I am submitting the latest version of my Blog Signature as an entry to the March 2022 Challenge (wish me luck as I might win a secret prize no one talks about!).

How I Got Here
The instructions on the post hosted by Craig and Eileen seemed simple, and they were clear and helpful. Still, I wanted more! I was inspired by Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! and Kat Palmiotti blog signatures'. And I wanted to have my signature reminiscent of theirs.
I started creating the blog signature in Canva (recommended by Craig) and attempting to transfer the semi-finished product to AR. My goal was to tweak and fine-tune the final signature in AR. After I began working on updating the signature, I quickly found out that I had got myself into a "deeper hole" of challenge and was looking for a way out! That was one of my "duh" moments.
I was having a hard time getting the bar displaying all the links to stand out and finding ways to enhance the clarity of the photos and texts. Guess who I called? Yep, you guessed it! Craig, Help, please!
There was Craig, as always, who showed up timely as when I needed his expertise!
So, the final signature displayed on this post was the product of my "duh" moment, challenging attempts, and Craig's rescue.
I am motivated and consider this action a work-in-progress as I learn more to gain experience and education to enhance and improve my online presence and business.
Thank you, Craig, for your teaching and inspiration!
My 2022 Goals
*Continue to update my WordPress website to incorporate additional features benefiting clients, such as adding "client's back office" when submitting new files and obtaining real-time updates on their work-in-process transactions without logging on to a separate working site.
*Write more business-related blog posts for my website blog page for potential clients led to visit my company's website and may not visit the AR Blog page.
*Write and share more thoughtful posts relating to my personal and business experience to develop and foster long-term relationships with those like-minded professionals in this Active Rain community.
Last but not least, my sincere thanks to both Craig Daniels and Eileen Burns for hosting this March 2022 Challenge.
Thank you, everyone, for reading this post and the continued support you have given me during the past six months (is it six months already?) of being part of this wonderful community, Active Rain!
