LOL we used to call this taking the scenic route Paul!  Rambling around, not worrying about getting somewhere fast - simply enjoying the scenic route and moment.  I still do that to this day! Getting around the  Phoenix area on the freeways can be a 'task', one of which I avoid if at all possible.   Ahhhhhh beautiful scenery, et?
