Home. Again.
Shared Stories. . .
Each of us has a story. There seems to be many tales. They are spoken about and listened to. Some are short, quickly delivering a message. Others seem quite lengthy. Ponder-plentiful. Perhaps.
An increase in heft does not necessarily mean the topic is worthy of its additional weight. Today, I am thinking of home. While it may not be complete, I believe the topic is covered well in the following quotes:
If light is in your heart
you will find your way home.
We are just walking each other home
Charity should begin at home
but
should not end there.
As often demonstrated, the same thoughts can exist with different people and at different times, here is something quite similar:
Charity should begin at home but should not stay there.
And with the upcoming World Series, these words seem appropriate. Baseball-wise and “just because”:
Never make your home in a place.
Make your home inside your own head.
You’ll find what you need to furnish it -
memory, friends you can trust, love of learning,
and other such things.
That way
it will go with you wherever you journey.
