One of the most frequent questions I am asked is, "Can I access SureClose on my smart phone?". The quick and easy answer would be, "no", but lets explore this for a moment. What kind of access would be most beneficial on your phone? You've got a pretty small screen that you are dealing with. Would you really want to try and login and navigate through the whole transaction management platform on your phone? How would you even be able to see documents effectively? I would think that what you really want and need while out in the field are updates on your transactions. You probably don't have time to browse through all your transactions and wouldn't it be better to get just the necessary facts while you are on the run?
So, the real question becomes, "Can I receive transaction updates from SureClose on my smart phone?" and the answer to this question is a resounding "yes"! Just add an email address in your contact profile that is your 10 digit cell phone number and your carrier's domain. So, it would look like: 10-digit-number@carrierdomain.com. If you are unsure of your carrier's domain, here is a cheat sheet of some major cell phone carriers:
Alltel: @message.alltel.com
Cingular/AT&T: @txt.att.net
Nextel: @messaging.nextel.com
Sprint: @messaging.sprintpcs.com
SunCom: @tms.suncom.com
T-mobile: @tmomail.net
VoiceStream: @voicestream.net
Verizon: @vtext.com
Now, you can have email correspondence and updates sent from SureClose to your smart phone. You can also set this as your notification default so that all auto-notifications are sent to your phone as a text message.
If you have any questions about SureClose, be sure to post your comments here or contact me. I hope this helps!
