Maui Lawn and Landscape - installing new front yards in Kahului Maui Hawaii

Brand new subdivision Na Hoku, Maui Lani - here's the new front yards being installed by Maui Lawn and Landscape.

Maui's central valley is very sandy, and these new subdivisions in Maui Lani need to have soil delivered.  Shown here is the composted mulch that you can buy from the county's green waste recycling program.  It's good stuff for your yard, made from shredded yard waste - you know, all those coconut palm fronds and what not.

For more info about where to get this vaulable resource - here's a great website for the Maui Recycling Group.  Find out where to recycle those items you have no need for, on Maui.

Hunter, thanks for posting this site. I had not seen it before. I have been looking for some good paper resources.

Debbie - this post started out with the photo, and then somehow it evolved to be about the compost and the recycling website.

Pete - you're welcome, you know I love to recycle too

I was thinking what the others were saying... how is it that this looks so "pretty"? I don't think our photo of the dirt delivery was this frame-worthy.

Chuck - I think it's because the colors all kind of go together.  The air here is really clear, that probably helps.

I agree with Sally, I was looking at the picture wowed how a dump truck and dirt could look so good.  You've got a good eye.  I guess the contrast with the sand and the mulch and the yellow fire hydrant that make it such an eye appealing picture.
