Fayetteville was named an All AmericaCity 2001. We have a rich military history dating back prior to the civil war. Most residents are active duty, retired, or prior service. A strong sense of national pride is inescapable for those who live here. The presence of Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base contributes to our diverse multi-cultural community.
There are many restaurants that cater to our ethnic diversity. My favorite is the Thai Pepper. They feature a great lunch buffet. It is a real challenge to not over eat. I mean the food is so good! It's a little spicy as is, but you can ask for mild.
