AN ICON DIES

By
Real Estate Agent with Weichert Referral Associates

Paul Newman has pased away at the age of 83. This is the first time in my 46 years that the death of anyone from hollywood has affected me. I've never been a big movie fan and don,t watch much television but I always enjoyrd Paul Newman. I  seldom see a film that is worth watching more than once, probably the only other actor I could watch more than once was Jack Nicholson. But I have probably seenColl Hand Luke at least 15 times and intend to make a point to see it agqain soon as it has been awhile. Paul , The world will miss you I pray that you are right now home with our heavenly father. In Jesus Name I pray.

Hugh

I read this morning about all the wonderful things Mr. Newman did in charity. I think my favorite was the camps for kids he had all over the World so kids could go and just be a kid for awhile. The "whole in the wall" camps.

Sincerely

Tom Braatz

Hugh, I did not realize that Paul Newman had died.  I loved the way he lived his life.  So many in that industry are not a role model but he was.

I heard about this earlier today. It is very sad. We watch them and love them like we really know them! Sometimes thought it really feels like we know them. He was a very talented man. As my news called him...."A legend."

Hi Hugh,  Paul Newman was a very creative open thinker, shaker & mover and he will be missed.  I really liked the fact, that he would sponsor young directors and their films, when most other film making companies wouldn't bother.  His creativity will be sadly missed.

Hugh, I hold a great deal of respect for Paul Newman and I'm so sorry he lost his battle with cancer. He and JoAnne Woodward were one of the longest marriages in Hollywood. They married, I think, in 1953 and were never apart or unfaithful....ever. What a wonderful legacy.

I'm sure glad to see you here! Welcome friend! We've missed you. How are things going? Let us know. Catch us up.

Hugs,

Later in the rain~Deb

It is sad. I read an article that said he was staunchly liberal in his political views. He just doesn't fit the mold of today's liberals though.

One of the best actors in our generation. He will be greatly missed. I have been watching his movies for the past two weeks. I just love The Sting, I watch it over and over. It gets better all the time.

Paul spent a lot of time in Brainerd, MN and I did get the chance to get to know him.  He even gave me a big movie style kiss when I presented him with one of his racing trophies and then another for the cameras. At the time I didn't really appreciate it - now it is just funny. His eyes were really THAT BLUE.

The Sting was an amazing movie and is worth watching more than once.
