Come to Lake Havasu this weekend for some fun!Lake Havasu City is always a happening place.  Below are the list of events going on in Lake Havasu this weekend:

November 14-16: Art & Soul Festival, Community Presbyterian Church (3450 Chemehuevi Blvd) 10am-5pm.  Free admission.  This event is an exhibit and performance of artists in all media.  Awards will be given to participants.  For more info, please contact Almazetta at 928-680-3476.

November 14-15: Local Artists Paint London Bridge, Lake Havasu Museum of History (320 London Bridge Rd) 1-4pm.  Cost: $2 per adult.  For more information on this exhibit, please contact Ruth Brydon at 928-854-4938.

November 14-16: You're a Good Man Charlie Brown Live Performance, Grace Arts Live (2146 McCulloch Blvd) Fri & Sat: 7:30pm, Sun: 2:pm.  Cost: Adult = $25+tax, Children = $12+tax.  This is the musical adaptation of the classic Charles Schultz comic strip "Peanuts".  For more info, please call 928-855-8272.

November 14 & 15: 4th Annual Holiday Food Drive Poker Run, Nautical Inn (1000 McCulloch Blvd) all day event.  Cost: $10/boat with poker hands $20/hand.  This fun get together is a fundraiser for Havasu's local Community Food Bank.  Check in Friday evening or Saturday at the Turtle Bar.  The poker run will be from 10am-12pm.  For more info, please email Larry Reese at larryreese@magicpowerboats.com.

November 15: Rummage Sale, Lake Havasu High School (2675 S Palo Verde) 7am-1pm.  This is a fundraiser for the LHHS Majestic Educational Tour Group to earn money for a trip to Europe in May 2009.  For more info, please call Mary Padula at 928-486-5154.

November 15: 2nd Annual Hospice Golf Tournament, Havasu Springs Golf Course (Hwy 95 S) starts at 8am. Cost: $65/person.  4 person/18 hole scramble on a par 3 course.  All proceeds benefit Hospice patients and programs.  Each player will receive a gift bag and all entry fees include green fees, cash prizes, appetizer buffet and awards ceremony.  For more info, please contact Mary Lomberto at 928-453-2111.

November 15: Donate Life Awareness, Fraternal Order of Eagles (1561 Marlboro Dr) 9am-1pm.  Free admission.  Volunteers working the booths are either on a transplant list or family members who have loved ones that have donated organs.  There will be free giveaway gifts and ecucational material.  For more info on how the Donate Life Program works, please contact Tommy Parsons at 928-412-7409.

November 15: Swansea Townsite 100th Anniversary, Swansea Townsite, 10am-2pm.  Free admission.  The Bureau of Land Management is commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Swansea Townsite about 30 miles from Parker.  There will be walking tours of the town's historical sites.  For more info, please contact the BLM at 888-213-2582.

November 15: Havasu 95 Speedway Race, SARA Park, gates open at 4pm, racing begins at 6pm.  General admission: Adults $12, Seniors 55+, Handicap & Military $10, Children 6-16 yrs $6, children 5 & under free w/adult.  Buddy Bingo Night - buy your ticket and get a buddy in for 1/2 price.  Play bingo in the grandstands.  ASA Street Stocks, Legends, Bandoleros and Factory Stocks.  For more info, please call 928-716-6634.
