New Orleans French Quarter Sunrise, New Orleans does sleep!

By
Real Estate Agent with Gardner Realtors, Licensed in La.

These are some photos I took at sunrise in the French Quarter this fall. Great time to get some uncrowded shots with the sun coming up from the Westbank of New Orleans. I forgot the tripod this day but found some ledges for the camera.

New Orleans French Quarter Sunrise, Wake Up New Orleans !

Sunrise in the New Orleans French Quarter is fairly quiet.  You can get some photos since no one is around but it lasts only so long then you have to eat breakfast.  Always great to get another view since most will sleep through it.

There is always something to do in New Orleans and that is why its a great destination city for people all over the world.  That is why the French Quarter, Warehouse District and Uptown New Orleans are becoming a second home choice for many.  Enjoy the Holidays and 2009 will be a better year.

See the latest French Quarter Condos Updates for status of condos under 200k.  Many people do not know that the Warehouse District is steps away and the prices drop fairly dramatically.   The Warehouse District Condos, Buyer Market will give you some additional insight into the market.

Eric, great sunrise French Quarter and surrounding area photos, particularly around the Mississippi River. You are the expert.

Olympus 500-E SLR, great little camera. I used Picnik.com to do different arrangements. Its a great program that is free. I upgraded to the $25 per year and has been a feature. I like to write on the photos ect.

Gary, thanks for the comment. You are one of the few old timers that I see much of here anymore. I will have to take the tri-pod next time. Its a great way to start a morning then stop for breakfast.

Eric - great photos. I was surprised to hear the music when I came to your blog - might not have been good during the business day, but here at home this evening, it's a very welcome sound.  Thanks.

Sharon, thanks. This my funblog and thought about that and just went for it. I can turn it off. The music seemed to fit New Orleans. I was proud of getting it to work. Would like to ge some of Fats Dominos songs on here.  He is one of my local favorites of all time.
