Crystal Cove at Corona del Mar, California.
TOURIST DAY at Crystal Cove, our favorite local California state beach. We enjoyed time with friend Ian White who is from Scotland and visited with us yesterday. 
It was a glorious winter day with rain and intermittent sunshine.
Being tourists for a change of pace at our own local favorite Crystal Cove State Beach and its Beachcomber Cafe was a highlight.
Excellent burgers at the Beachcomber Cafe with seating on wood chairs at the deck overlooking the purple colors of our Pacific ocean.
Ian and Christi are enjoying a laugh at the sand porch of the old Crystal Cove Shack, an icon building at this beach location.

Ian, Christi and I, got out for a good hike at low tide and were amazed that almost nobody else was there to share the beach with us.
