Gardening Tools

By
Home Builder with NOVA Pros

It is still winter time, but it is not too early to start thinking about your lawn for the Spring. While you are planning the design, making an inventory of current plants, and budgeting money for the project, take a few minutes to make sure that you have the right tools for the job.

There are a few basic tools that every gardener should have. Garden tools can be broken down into four main categories: digging, weeding, raking, and pruning.

Please provide any feedback on other tools that you think are good to have for landscaping.

Thanks,

Be very very careful of that slippery slope. Once you step on to gardening slope you are apt to find great expense and great enjoyment in liberal amounts.

I love to garden but have not done much in the past few years... This year I intend to at least do a smaller but productive garden of mixed flowers and veggies...  Thanks for the tool tips.

I can't wait until I can start gardening! My yard is still buried under snow here in Lake Tahoe. I guess we still have 6 weeks of winter thanks to that little fury groundhog!

I can't wait to smell the soil and start planting, although it will be several months and I am not really a green thumb!
