Don't Put Your Foot In Your Mouth

By

I just had a great conversation with Milton Heide, an agent who has been working in real estate as long as I've been alive (41 years) and who always has a way of bringing a fresh perspective into our discussions.

He was relating a story about a deal that went sour and came up with this gem:

"Don't put your foot in your mouth, because then you can't talk...and you can't walk."

I can think of more than one instance where this applied in my life.  It felt like hell at the time, but at least I can laugh about it now.

Cheers!
