Highland Springs Village - A Well-Kept Secret...

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams

Highland Springs Village is a well-established manufactured home community, tucked in the foothills in Cherry Valley, CA., just north of Beaumont and Banning.  As a community for Senior Citizens, age 55 or better, HSV has an abundance of amenities, activities, camaraderie and just plain F-U-N!!

The clubhouse holds a large meeting room, exercise room, card room, pool tables, an indoor spa, large swimming pool, along with showers, offices, a full kitchen, and much more.  We also have tennis courts and horse shoe pit.  Our biggest attraction, however, is our nine-hole executive golf course.  This well-maintained course provides fun and challenge for all skill levels, from the "almost-pro" to the "really-kinda-good" to the "just average" to the "beginner" to the "gonna give it a try" to ... well... "those like me."  Seriously, it's a great course, and great fun.

There are over 460 homes is our little "Village", and as with any community, there are always a few available for sale.  Most are two bedroom and two bath homes, with a few three bedroom models also.  They will range in size from around 1,200 square feet to neary 2,000 square feet.  Some have terrific views of the golf course, one of the two lakes, mountains, beautiful panoramic vistas; and some are very private.  There is usually something available for every taste and every budget.  Where else in Southern California can you find golf course living for under $250,000?

We found Highland SPrings Village to be an exceptionally nice place.  We are considering a

move  to a nice quiet area, and are wondering if there are any listings for units(mobilehomes for

sale) there in HSV.

Thank You

Because of the current economic situation, it is an excellent time to be considering purchasing a mobile home (includes land) in HSV.  Home prices are at 2001 levels.

Several homes are available in HSV.  Many sizes, and locations to choose from.

We have driven through this lovely park and I check for new listings daily. I am only 51 now. What are my chances that I could get in now? I have been told that California law states that a certain percentage of the residents in a 55+ park can be under that age and still retain their senior park standing.

The place is NOT bad IF the rules are followed.  Some people don't like to follow the CC&R's.  Read them before you buy so you know what your are in for!  We have a wonderful board that enforces the rules to the best of their ability.  That is why the village has been my home for 34 years!

Highland Springs Village is a great community! Absolutely know the rules of the HOA before buying/moving in, but if you're good with how they govern the community, you love living in the area!
