My 30 year career as a registered nurse provided a solid foundation for real estate sales. Buying and selling property can be a stressful time, a time when skillful listening and negotiating is needed, a time when integrity counts and problem solving may be crucial. Those are some of the skills I bring to the table, honed in heath care as a nurse, a manager, an executive and a consultant.
I moved to Highlands in 1998 from Montgomery, AL. Married at the time, we asked ourselves "why are we waiting until retirement to enjoy the beauty and lifestyle of the Highlands area." The answer was obvious and our move soon followed. Living here has met all of my expectations. The people are friendly and eclectic. The volunteer, cultural and physical activities are plentiful. The only thing I miss in my life is my son, Stephen, who lives with his wife, Carmen in Basalt, CO. However, that's not a bad place to vacation when I go out of town!
