My workday usually starts with reading Facebook posts from the night before and commenting on friends' and clients' pictures and updates. It has been fun and productive. I can spend hours on Facebook. I then move on to Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and Linked-In. I then go to the MLS and keep that running in the background all day because my job is to list and sell homes! But is it really work? Is it really helping my business? I believe that Facebook and all social media is a wonderful way to connect with people and yes, I do believe it is business. … (31 comments)

1.There Aren't Any Bidding Wars.You don't have to look over your shoulder and worry that any other buyers will outbid you for a house, condo or townhouse. If you were looking in 2005 you can remember your Realtor calling you to hurry and look at a house the minute it came on the market. There is no competitive bidding in the Gaithersburg market now. 2. I woke up early this morning and as is my usual custom I checked Active Rain and my e-mail. This morning I was greeted with a fabulous e-mail - the kind of e-mail every Realtor hopes to get. It said "I found you on Facebook and I checked out your profile on Active Rain and I Want You To List My House....I am moving to Tennessee and would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience (there was more to the e-mail but you get the picture)....it wasn't maybe you could list my house it was I Want You To … (28 comments)
