Johnston County Schools will not have to cut any employee positions this year, even with an estimated $4.6 million in budget cuts from the state. The budget adopted last week by the NC General Assembly includes a discretionary cut of approximately $4.6 million for Johnston County Schools, which translate into a reduction of funding for non-instructional support, technology, and Central Office administration.
