Our Arkansas Secretary of State, Charlie Daniels, sent out this newsletter and I found one question interesting. Q: Is it true that I will not be allowed to vote if I'm wearing a shirt or sticker for a certain candidate? A: While it's true that Arkansas law prohibits anyone from bringing or wearing campaign materials within 100 feet of a polling site (called electioneering), you will NOT be turned away from voting for doing so. Election officials will ask you to remove any buttons, stickers or hats; if its an article of clothing, the official will ask you to cover the message. (4 comments)
