For the seventh consecutive month closed residential sales have exceeded sales from the same month a year ago. 505 residential sales were reported closed in April, up 53% from April 2009. Sales forApril compared to last month are up 25.3%. The average sales price was $179,874 and the median sales price was $163,000.Year to date residential sales of single family homes on less than one acre and condos are up 33.3% over last year. The statistics for 2009 Spokane Wa Real Estate Market Trends : Here are a few year-end highlights and facts: In Spokane Wa. 2009 there were a total of 9,782 Homes listed for sale, and 4,664 homes SOLD. that means about HALF the homes did NOT sell! Odds of selling in any given month varied from the low of 5% to the high of 16%. Overall 8.2% decrease in median home price for the year from 187k n 2008 to 169k in 2009.
