On September 27th, in support of National Poison Prevention Week, the town of Cary, NC will be hosting, Operation Medicine Drop.
Residents may safely dispose prescription and over the counter expired or unused medications at one of the four drop off locations throughout the town.

Once again the Cary Towne Center Mall will play host to its annual Safe "n Sane Halloween event.
Participating retailers will be handing out treats to the kids who come dressed in costume.
There will be a costume contest for varying age groups with prizes given to the best costume in each group.
A magician and some "not so scary" story telling will entertain the kids as they parade through the mall showing off their costumes.

Safety Festival to Kick Off National Fire Prevention Week in Cary, NC
On Saturday October 2, 2010 residents of Cary are invited to join the Town's fire and police departments to celebrate the start of National Fire Safety Week.
Joining the police and fire departments at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road, will be Cary’s Community Emergency Response Team, Cary EMS and Wake County Safety Kid’s Coalition. The festivities begin at 10:00AM and continue until 4:00PM.
This year’s theme is: “Smoke Alarms: A Sound You Can Live With.”
