Canyon Creek Elementary finished one last project from the funds received from my Geno’s Memorial, almost four years ago. I love how creative the children were who created this park bench! It will sit out on the kindergarten side of the school when school starts in August.

One afternoon we were having lunch at the Buffalo Café in Whitefish Montana and Beautiful Beckett ordered lemonade. I ordered water and asked for some lemons. Beckett wanted to know why I ordered lemons for my water and I told her every morning I squeeze some lemon in water, warm it up and drink it. The rest of the day when I drink water I try to add some lemon too.
She looked at me funny and wanted to taste it and compare it to her lemonade so we held a taste testing. She drank some of the lemon water and … (20 comments)

Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett are students at NW Montessori School. Each year they have a July 4th celebration for family and friends. I'm always amazed at their performance and how they exhibit such knowledge of our country (remember they are 3-5 years old)! They all know the states and the capitals of our country! They know all the Presidents who've served our country and can rattle them off..they know how many stars and stripes are on our flag and so much more..the love for their country they are being taught..makes my heart warm with pride! It isn't every day I have the opportunity to give piggy back rides to Beautiful Beckett! Memorial was sunny and the perfect day for celebrating with pool time and a BBQ. Beckett swims with her goggles all the time so it only seemed natural to just put her cap on while wearing them! Love this little girl♥♥

Grandson Handsome Hudson (my son's boy) is 5 soon to be 6 in September. His cousin, Trey (my daughter's boy) is 19 almost 20 in October. It's uncanny how much Trey (when Hudson's age) look so much alike! Love these two to the moon and back! ♥♥

Handsome Hudson and beautiful Beckett are two cool dudes for spring break in Mexico! Don't you love their caps and shades? I can hear the music playing and feel the palm trees swaying! This is the first year we haven't joined them on spring break but it just wasn't meant to be with Geno's heath issues....hopefully next year!

This little princess is ready for the Fairy Tea Party on Sunday at the Botanical Gardens! Beautiful Beckett loves her new Fairy costume and even let us put her green ribbon in her hair! It reminded me of a favorite poem:

This year was a first in finding out what three of my teenage grandchildren wanted for Christmas. I always ask what they want (at this stage don’t want to make a mistake on their preferences) for Christmas! All answered up with the same item..a first! Each had a different style and color of Ray Bans they wanted. I told them this photo could be an ad for Ray Ban….."All I want for Christmas is Ray Ban!"

Thanksgiving this year was hosted at son John and his wife Erika’s (the beautiful lady in the orange) home. College kids were home and 3 generations of women were present at once (hard to accomplish anymore). Of course beautiful Beckett had no time for photos with us...she posed with all the grand-kids so felt she had done her share of photo opps for the day!

The week-end before last I traveled with my daughter to Bucknell University to watch Hailey (her daughter and my granddaughter) and her Bison Volleyball team fight it out with West Point and Colgate! I was thrill to see Hailey in her element and loved seeing her campus! They barely lost to West Point and beat Colgate after a 7 year drought of loosing to them! Love this young lady ♥♥ She is a star!

It's hard to believe that Handsome Hudson is five years old today. He waited to arrive five years ago today until we returned from our vacation! We enjoy celebrating this little boy who captured our hearts ♥♥. It's true, little boys are like snowflakes - there are no two alike!

Where was I? George Souto posted a photo on his vacation requesting us to respond to where he'd been. I read his post and was pretty certain he had been in Portugal as we have been there many times. We left on August 22nd on vacation so thought I'd ask the question where was I in this photo?
While we were gone we watched with the world the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey as the storm released a relentless punishing of Houston and the coastal cities a long the Texas and Louisiana coastline.

Beautiful Beckett is three years old today! I remember last year when she was two! On her first birthday I didn’t think to create a collage (thank you Sharon Tara for the idea). I remember well August 16, 2014 the year she was born in the heat of the summer and Handsome Hudson had strep throat!!
Time is racing by and we continue to be mesmerized with her independent streak, her love of her big brother and her adventuresome spirit!
I still think the quote I used last year is appropriate and sums this self-determined young lady up perfectly:

My daughter Melissa was stopped at a red light on her way to the airport to pick her daughter up. A car was stopped beside her in the next lane. An Isuzu small truck made an executive level decision to go between the two cars when his brakes failed! Not a pretty picture…..just glad she is okay and didn’t have any clients in her car!

Last week - end I enjoyed some early morning breakfast time with Handsome Hudson and Beautiful Beckett while their daddy got in a 12 mile run (he is training for the Boston Marathon). I brought Nanna’s blueberry muffins for a breakfast treat and Beckett got out her princess costume to wear ......hey why not?

Every year the gals in our NW Austin Coldwell Banker office have an annual Christmas party! Everyone brings a $20 (plus) gift to exchange, hors d’oeuvres (dessert, salad or whatever) and a bottle of wine! Numbers are given out (this year we had 35 participating) and after much grazing around the table, laughing and taking photos…the real fun began! You can take any present under the tree or pick one someone who has already picked. An item is frozen after 3 picks and the last number can pick any gift they want except for ones that are frozen.This year there were … (28 comments)

I loved our stop in Marseilles, France on our recent Mediterranean cruise. Wandering the narrow streets full of art and resale shops I was awed by the reclamation of the old! Baroque influences of art were everywhere - doors and walls were painted by artists even pots were adorned with art! It was like seeing graffiti on steroids! I came across an "Underground Art" store that was fascinating!

Recently while navigating the curvy, narrow road encircling Portofino we spotted 2 Paparazzi lurking in the underbrush snapping away through the wrought iron fence! There were two gorgeous yachts anchored next to each other with the guests and crew partying. Our guide told us some movie stars had leased the yachts and the photos the paparazzi snagged would be seen in the latest trash tabloids!
