Leaving new construction out of the equation, all homes tell a story. Every resident leaves their mark and we always wonder if walls could talk. We can tell upon opening the front door if this was a happy home. We can imagine family gatherings around the kitchen island or the pitter-patter of little feet on wood floors. We notice the height charts permanently marked onto door frames, or delight in little reminders of times gone by (mounted pencil sharpeners, anyone?).

Just another day in the exciting life of a REALTOR®! This was a feedback I never saw coming!
Imagine the look on my face when I read the feedback that had just come in on a hot new listing: "My buyers loved loved loved the house, but for the snake." My smile quickly turned into a big question mark! Snake? What snake? And oh no.. we have 6 more showings today!

life of a realtor: What does a surgery at Johns Hopkins have to do with Real Estate? - 05/15/16 08:38 AM
I had a little surgery at Johns Hopkins this week (my excuse for not posting a blog for a week), at the Outpatient Center on North Caroline Street, Dermatology - Cutaneous Surgery Unit, to be exact.
I tried real hard not to worry about it. I've been seeing a wonderful dermatologist in Columbia and trust her opinion completely. I also had 3 new listings to get ready, service and market which kept me busy and my mind occupied.
