The Palos Verdes Library District has some great free movies that they will be showing during the month of March 2020. Each month they offer a different selection of foreign movies, “latest” releases, and classic cinema. Most of the screenings will have some post film discussion which adds an opportunity to socialize with others in the community. In March, the following movies will be presented:

Starting this Friday, December 6, through Sunday, December 22, 2019, the Mary & Joseph Retreat Center will be having their 13th Annual Nativity Exhibit. On display will be 100 creche sets from around the world. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Senior Center is once again offering free income tax preparation to Palos Verdes homes owners through the AARP Tax-Aide Program. These one hour sessions are held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. beginning February 2, 2019, and ending on April 13, 2019. In order to take advantage of this free program, you must have all your tax documents for 2018 in hand before going in.
